Financial Planning Manager – Ecommerce Logistics & Transform

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with and provide in-depth data-driven financial analysis to the Transportation, Planning and Allocation, and Ecommerce Operations teams.
• Complete an annual operating budget to be reviewed by digital strategy, FP&A and supply chain leadership.
• Manage financial forecasts and actual results of Ecommerce Delivery expenses.
• Provide perspective on key performance indicators and support operations partners in balancing cost and service.
• Assist the Supply Chain Finance team with strategic views and forecasts of merchandise volume flows, including inbound and outbound Ecommerce volumes.
• Partner with cross-functional areas to assess, analyze, and deploy transformation initiatives.
• Create and maintain comprehensive financial and performance metric reporting for the business.
• Conduct reviews of performance reports and dashboards to ensure they meet the business's needs and suggest improvements.
• Create and maintain SQL code to query Oracle databases for Ecom reporting.
• Create and maintain MS Access databases for Shipping and Handling reporting.
• Audit Carrier invoice data for completeness and accuracy, research discrepancies, and initiate remediation activities.
• Prepare ad-hoc analyses for contract updates or service model changes.
• Establish new metrics for evaluating business performance and improving expense forecast accuracy.
• Manage accounting operations for Ecommerce shipping and handling expense, adhering to GAAP principles.
• Prepare presentations for various audiences, reviewing shipping and handling performance and providing variance analyses.
• Partner with outside consultants and the Procurement organization for data during contract renewals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
• 3 years of experience in financial analysis and logistics or supply chain-related occupations.
• CLTD certification (Certified Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution).
• Experience with MS Excel for building dashboards and performing ad-hoc analyses.
• SQL and Python programming skills for selecting and reformating data.
• MS Access skills for creating and managing databases.
• Data analysis skills for interpreting complex data sets and identifying relationships from disparate data sources.
