Financial Planning Manager (Ameritas)

About the role

This role reports to the Advanced Planning Director and oversees the Financial Planner and financial planning interns.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Financial Planning desk.
• Oversee the Financial Planner and financial planning interns.
• Support senior planners and financial professionals in delivering case preparation and development of comprehensive financial plans.
• Involvement in advanced planning cases involving business, retirement, estate, charitable and tax planning.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in finance, economics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial planning, preferably in a managerial capacity.
• Proven ability to manage and mentor a team of financial planners and interns.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in financial modeling and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with financial planning software and tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
