Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

About the role

Behavior Frontiers, LLC is a leading provider of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) treatment for autism and other special needs. We are seeking a full-time FP&A Manager to support our finance team and drive financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting functions as we continue to expand.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a "best-in-class" FP&A organization to support Behavior Frontiers' aggressive growth plans.
• Oversee all financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting functions; establish efficient processes for developing financial budgets and forecasts.
• Guide financial decision-making by providing accurate, timely financial information with clear insights and analysis.
• Establish parameters and guidelines for the annual budget and forecasting process for Executive Management review and approval.
• Evaluate input to determine where adjustments are needed to meet financial projections, trends, and company strategies.
• Collaborate with department leadership to ensure targets and key financial objectives are met in accordance with annual budgets.
• Monitor and report on the financial condition of Behavior Frontiers by collecting, interpreting, and reporting key financial data, including monthly variance analyses.
• Assess actual results against forecasted performance to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
• Oversee monthly operating expense variance analysis reporting, including meetings with department heads and senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement of KPIs, metrics, and associated dashboards, including financial models, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Conduct valuations and create financial modeling to assess business opportunities, facilitate growth, and support Executive Management initiatives, including M&A activities.
• Support the implementation of variable compensation programs based on company KPIs for key functions.
• Manage and develop performance metrics, management reporting, annual budgets, interim forecasts, and financial analyses across all reporting units and on a consolidated basis.
• Prepare succinct and clear executive presentations with time-sensitive deliverables.
• Identify areas for process improvements and efficiencies, ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
• Prepare long-term forecasts of Behavior Frontiers' financial statements for strategic planning purposes.
• Perform other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting, finance, or FP&A experience.
• Knowledge of the healthcare services industry is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a cooperative attitude.
• Self-directed with the ability to exercise initiative, discretion, and seek guidance as appropriate.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective planning, organizational skills, time management, and prioritization; high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; flexible and adaptable.
• Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills using Pivot Tables and VBA preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365: Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to provide negative TB test results.
• Ability to clear FBI & DOJ fingerprinting.
• Valid Government ID.
