Financial Planning & Analysis, Sr Analyst

Essential Duties

• Aids in developing financial models for business decisions.
• Tests and validates newly developed financial models.
• Maintains consistent meeting of deadlines and manages multiple projects effectively.
• Anticipates questions and adapts communication strategies to different audiences.
• Presents to diverse groups and employs diplomacy in resolving issues.
• Provides actionable guidance to customers and keeps stakeholders informed.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree/equivalent in business, finance, or related discipline. A Master's Degree in a related field may offset experience requirements.

Minimum Experience

• Four (4) years direct experience in financial analysis, financial planning, business consulting, project management, accounting, audit, or operational analysis.
• Experience using financial modeling concepts for cost/benefit and profit/loss analysis.
• Experience using advanced personal computer applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word, Essbase Tools, or others as necessary.
• Proficiency in storytelling through written documentation.

Knowledge, Skills, And Experience

• Advanced knowledge of personal computer applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word, Essbase Tools, or others as necessary.
• Strong analytical, human relations, and communication skills.
• Understanding of financial modeling concepts for cost/benefit and profit/loss analysis.
• Ability to define problems, recognize alternatives, and provide concise recommendations.
• Demonstrated flexibility in shifting priorities to meet changing demands.
• Proactive anticipation of questions and adaptation of communication strategies to audience.
• Effective presentation skills and diplomatic approach in addressing issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Financial modeling experience (Excel, Power Automate, PowerBI, etc.).
• Narrative storytelling skills (PowerPoint slides, emails, in-person presentations, etc.).
• Financial reporting knowledge (understanding GAAP/revenue recognition to develop income statement, sales projections, etc.).
