Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Intern - Summer 2027

About The Opportunity

Claire’s is looking for an analytical, business-minded student to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team as a Summer 2027 Intern. This internship provides an opportunity to learn how financial information is used to evaluate performance, support planning, and help leaders make informed business decisions. As an FP&A Intern, you’ll gain exposure to financial analysis and reporting within a fast-paced retail organization.

What You’ll Get To Experience

• Assist with financial reporting and analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities.
• Analyze actual business performance against plans or forecasts.
• Help identify and research financial trends and variances.
• Auxiliary with recurring reports, presentations, and financial models.
• Gain exposure to key retail and financial performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional business partners.
• Support special projects and evolving business priorities.

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Interest in corporate finance, financial planning, and business performance.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills or a desire to develop advanced Excel capabilities.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly.
• Organized, curious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

About The Internship

Claire’s Summer 2027 internship opportunities are designed to provide students with meaningful exposure to our business, teams, and customers. Interns will have the opportunity to contribute to real business priorities, build professional skills, and learn from Claire’s team members and leaders. Specific assignments, projects, program dates, and team structure will be finalized based on business needs.
