Financial Operations Analyst (Hybrid, Atlanta, US)
About the role
We are looking for a Financial Operations Analyst to join our North American Go To Market Team. Reporting to the Manager of Account Operations, you won't just be processing numbers—you will be fixing the engine. When a client experiences a complex reconciliation issue or a financial discrepancy, you will own the problem end-to-end.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and diagnose complex customer financial discrepancies.
- Multiply large, complex data sets to track down systemic billing, payment, or reconciliation anomalies.
- Act as the strategic bridge between Finance, Client Management, and Product/Engineering. Translate technical data issues into actionable product features or process changes to eliminate friction.
- Possess a deep understanding of financial data and be able to communicate complex financial data resolutions to high-value clients, reinforcing client confidence.
- Look at manual, repeating financial workarounds and design the automated, scalable workflows that replace them.
Requirements
- You are an analytical, deeply collaborative professional who brings a strong growth mindset to operational problem-solving.
- You have a natural curiosity for unpicking complex financial data puzzles and find deep satisfaction in tracking down the exact root causes of systemic anomalies within massive datasets.
- An exceptional communicator, you enjoy translating highly technical financial or system issues into clear, actionable solutions for both internal product teams and high-value clients alike.
- You thrive when building strategic cross-functional partnerships and excel at transforming manual friction points into scalable, automated workflows.
- You have 3-5+ years in a role that blended finance/accounting with heavy operational problem-solving (e.g., Revenue Operations, FinOps, Forensic Accounting, or Strategic Accounts Resolution).
- You are a true Excel power user (XLOOKUP, Index/Match, Pivot Tables, and advanced data cleansing are second nature).
- You are comfortable handling unformatted data from multiple distinct systems.
- You possess exceptional cross-functional skills. You can sit with a developer to discuss system logic, and then jump on a call with a client to explain a billing adjustment in plain English.
Qualifications
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent analytical/problem-solving experience.
Skills
- An analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving.
- Excel proficiency, including XLOOKUP, Index/Match, Pivot Tables, and advanced data cleansing.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Benefits
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
- Flexible work schedule (Hybrid 3/2 model).
- Professional development opportunities.
- Health and wellness benefits.
- Employee recognition programs.
Pay
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
Schedule
- Hybrid 3/2 model.
