Financial Operation Support

Location: Baltimore, MD (Hybrid) – currently 3 days per week on site, but must be available to work 5 days per week in-office if future policy requires it. Bachelor’s degree required.

About the role

The Asset Servicing Associate serves as a subject matter expert in Corporate Actions for Wealth Management. The role ensures the timeliness and quality of Corporate Action announcements, reconciliation, and resolution of residual differences. Associates provide exceptional service to Financial Advisors, their support staff, and other operational counterparts.

Responsibilities

• Risk analysis and mitigation
• Assist in process improvement initiatives and process documentation
• Compile and distribute various management and regulatory reports
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Corporate Actions on Equity and Fixed Income products, including Mandatory, Voluntary, Income Processing, Class Actions, and Proxy Voting
• Provide incoming phone and case management service support
• Ensure appropriate bookkeeping entries for entitled holders and reconcile/resolve residual differences
• Understand and explain complex issues and processes clearly to stakeholders at all seniority levels
