About the role

As a Financial Modeling Contractor, you will provide financial modeling and actuarial data analysis services to support project evaluations and business decisions. This role focuses on model input data, source-to-target mapping, data validation, and reconciliation across actuarial and administration system platforms. You will also prepare reporting materials that help project teams assess results, assumptions, and data quality.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and update financial models and actuarial data support files for project analysis.
  • Complete source-to-target data mapping between AXIS and administration system platforms based on documented data requirements.
  • Analyze model input data, variances, and trends to support validation and reconciliation activities.
  • Prepare financial reports and presentation materials summarizing assumptions, outputs, and data findings.
  • Work with actuarial and data team members to gather inputs, test model accuracy, and document results.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience supporting life or annuity actuarial model input data, including source-to-target mapping, data validation, and reconciliation.
  • Experience completing source-to-target data mapping between AXIS and policy administration systems.
  • Experience writing Structured Query Language (SQL) queries for data validation and reconciliation.
  • Experience reconciling actuarial input data between legacy and modernized platforms.
  • Experience documenting mapping specifications, transformation rules, and data lineage for model input data.
  • Experience creating or updating financial models, projection models, or actuarial support models.

Skills

  • Experience with AXIS actuarial modeling platform.
  • Experience with Oasys administration system.
  • Experience with Vantage administration system.
  • Experience with Universal Life Architecture (ULA).
  • Experience with LifeComm administration system.
  • Experience supporting actuarial data conversion or platform modernization efforts.

Pay

The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $100 - $110 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.

Schedule

Approximate hours per week (not specified).

Candidates must be geographically based in the United States and legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship. Deloitte is not the employer for this role; this work is contracted through a third-party.
