About the role

Katten seeks a highly qualified Associate to join its premier and dynamic Financial Markets and Regulatory Practice Group in its Chicago, New York, or Washington, D.C. office.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice in financial services, including securities and/or derivatives
• Negotiate trading agreements
• Advise on digital assets and blockchain technology (preferred)

Requirements

• 3–5 years of core experience in financial services
• Excellent academic credentials
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Admitted to the Illinois (for Chicago), New York (for New York), or Washington, D.C. (for Washington, D.C.) bar, or immediately eligible to waive in

Pay

Estimated salary range for this role is $270,000 – $385,000. Salary determinations are based on factors including relevant experience, work history, graduation and class year, and practice area.
