About the role

The Financial Management Manager leads financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance-management activities that drive sound business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic planning.
  • Consolidate financial results and produce monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop data analytics, visualizations, and trend analysis to inform financial strategy and decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with FAR, CAS, SEC, and US GAAP regulations and maintain robust internal controls.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise for proposal development, cost estimates, and contract negotiations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration.
  • Strong EVMS (Earned Value Management System) skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills.
  • Aptitude to facilitate results, self-starter attitude, process-oriented, structured problem solver.
  • Interest in technical details.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with emphasis on Excel pivot tables, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of EVMS business rhythms.
  • Knowledge of financial business rhythms (monthly/quarterly forecasting).
  • Leadership skills in an L-coded position.
  • Basic AI knowledge and utilization.
  • Dashboard visualization, creation, and utilization.
  • Experience working full Earned Value Management defense programs and associated cost tools and analysis.
  • SAP, COBRA, or Oracle experience.

For Washington state applicants only: Non-represented full-time employees accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) for incidental absences and receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Pay

Full-time salary range: $109,700 – $203,700.
