About the role
Lead a team of professionals in developing sustainable infrastructure solutions that enhance quality of life and protect the environment. Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement projects that meet client needs while adhering to environmental standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee project planning and execution, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability goals.
- Develop and present technical reports and proposals to clients, explaining project benefits and addressing potential risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, architects, and project managers to integrate sustainability into all phases of project delivery.
- Manage project budgets and schedules, coordinating with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in sustainable infrastructure to inform project decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in sustainable infrastructure projects.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Experience with sustainable infrastructure certifications such as LEED, BREEAM, or others.
- Knowledge of environmental impact assessment processes and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with project management software and tools.
Skills
- Strong understanding of environmental engineering principles and sustainable design practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
