Duties Summary

You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst of NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support.

Requirements

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Demonstrated ability in the analysis and modification of information within a financial management system; experience utilizing reports to monitor, analyze, and correct complex accounting transactions, ensuring financial sales reporting are accurately tracked, completed, and adjusted for changes in funding requirements.
  • Experience overseeing complex research, analysis and interpretation of a variety of financial/supply databases to manage funds for an organization; ability to analyze and interpret complex data and/or systems.
  • Subject matter expert coordinating with team members and senior management to collect, analyze, or interpret financial/supply information.
  • Leading and training team members in selection and application of appropriate problem-solving methods in financial management systems.
  • Demonstrated experience providing leadership and guidance to team members on specific work methods and financial management procedures.
  • Demonstrated skills in the performance of root cause analysis on financial and supply system discrepancies to resolve issues in an expedited manner and development of controls to prevent future recurrence.
