THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING A private equity-backed, multi-entity services platform with a very active acquisition strategy Joins a corporate finance integration group whose leaders have deep ERP implementation and acquisition integration experience Partners closely with the operations leader for the field service software side, plus data analysts, systems integrators, and operating company controllers A hiring leader who values mentorship, autonomy, and humor, and doesn’t micromanage What They Offer You A ground-floor seat on an enterprise-wide Dynamics 365 F&O rollout, working alongside a Tier 1 systems integrator Hands-on D365 expertise across GL, AP, AR, inventory, fixed assets, cash, and banking, a skill set that’s in very high demand Clear paths beyond the project: director-level integration leadership, corporate development, or a group controller seat overseeing several operating companies A competitive base salary plus bonus LOCATION Charlotte, NC, on-site with the corporate team Some travel to pilot operating companies for go-lives and first closes WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT Becomes the finance expert on D365, learning it down to the keystrokes so they can train each new wave of operating companies and acquisitions Maps and validates accounts, cost centers, and financial data between the field service software and the ERP Makes sure deferred revenue on service agreements, percentage-of-completion on projects, and T&M billing all land correctly in the ledger Builds and runs finance UAT scripts, triages defects, and supports legacy-to-D365 reconciliation with the data team Documents current-state processes for service billing, agreement billing, and project accounting across operating companies Supports close readiness for the initial pilot companies, then each rollout wave after that THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS 5–8 years in accounting, FP&A, or financial analysis; a public accounting or audit foundation that moved into FP&A is ideal Strong understanding of how transactions flow through the GL, from PO and three-way match through the balance sheet to the P&L Multi-entity account mapping, consolidation, or chart of accounts experience Exposure to an ERP implementation, or a clear track record of learning systems quickly Familiarity with service, agreement, or project billing and with T&M, contract, and POC revenue recognition Strong financial modeling skills and comfort working with messy, inconsistent data CPA or MBA preferred A high-energy self-starter with a sense of humor who enjoys learning new software and teaching it to others Open
