Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Aid in scheduling, material preparation, and logistical coordination for financial education events.
- Track participation, attendance, and outcomes for financial education programs.
- Maintain and update financial education curriculum, resources, and digital tools.
- Act as a liaison for schools, nonprofits, and community partners regarding event details.
- Coordinate communication with participants and partners before and after events.
- Support volunteer engagement by coordinating staff for presentations and activities.
- Track program data and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain records of community partnerships, presentations, and events.
- Assist with grant reporting or compliance documentation if applicable.
- Provide administrative support to the Financial Education Manager.
- Contribute to the development of new ideas to enhance community financial education outreach.
- Support other department projects and initiatives as needed.
Knowledge And Skills
- Experience: Program coordination, education, community outreach, or financial services experience is beneficial.
- Education: A two-year college degree, specialized certification or licensing, specialized training courses, or an apprenticeship program may be required.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills are essential for resolving conflicts, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation.
- Other Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication, ability to build relationships with diverse partners, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and a passion for financial education are desired.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (e.g., transporting program materials).
Work Environment
- Local travel required.
- Reliable transportation is necessary.
