Financial Counselor (Remote)

Deliverables/Principal Results

• Verifies client’s insurance information.
• Determines clients’ medical assistance status upon admission.
• Identifies clients needing to apply for insurance and completes the application process.
• Transmits client’s third-party payer information to pharmacy, lab, and other external providers for credits and/or adjustments.

• Obtain accurate insurance information throughout the Pyramid system.

• Knowledge of medical terminology and computer experience.

• Excellent business English skills and familiarity with business formats and principles for correspondence and files.
• Basic math skills.
• Excellent typing skills.
• Attention to detail.

Education, Experience

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a medical office preferred.
