Financial Counselor

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with charity and Medicaid applications.
• Enter all patient information into the computer to create accurate financial records.
• Interview patients to obtain necessary information.
• Explain hospital forms and policies to patients and their families.

Requirements

• PREFERRED: High School diploma or equivalent.
• PREFERRED: Type 25 words per minute.
• PREFERRED: 3 years of business experience.
• PREFERRED: Healthcare experience.
