Financial Consulting Manager - Gaming & Hospitality

About the role

RSM is seeking a Manager to join our Accounting and Finance Consulting (AFC) practice with a focus in Gaming and Hospitality Financial Advisory. The role provides a variety of financial consulting services to clients, including technical accounting and accounting support, business process improvement, and advisory projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations
• Develop an understanding of the client's business and industry
• Manage staff on projects of varying sizes
• Facilitate fieldwork by monitoring and reporting regarding productivity and adherence to work plan schedules
• Solve client and adoption challenges
• Identify performance improvement opportunities
• Support the execution and completion of various client deliverables

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years business experience or 5+ years in public accounting/consulting services
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
• Strong internal control skills and experience in developing and improving internal control systems
• Technical and functional accounting experience in US GAAP and/or IFRS for public or private companies
• Proven ability to manage staff on projects of varying sizes
• Pasored leadership experience
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with business associates and industry groups

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting or related working experience
• CPA certification preferred or related work experience
