About the role

Provide consultative, sales, and technical support to one or more Financial Advisors, working closely with the team to meet the needs of current clients and actively source prospective clients. Lead strategic planning and execution of the team's value proposition.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in establishing the strategic direction of the Financial Advisor team to increase revenue.
  • Consult clients and prospective clients, analyzing goals, objectives, and risk tolerance to determine and implement suitable investment products and services.
  • Assist clients with trades, information requests, research, and account issues.
  • Provide client relationship management support, including ongoing counsel, relationship reviews, and service initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations and engagements.
  • Develop and maintain a profitable level of securities and insurance sales through external networking and internal referrals.
  • Adhere to professional and ethical standards set by Truist, FINRA, and other regulatory bodies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Banking, or equivalent education and related experience.
  • 4 years of professional experience, including 1 year in the securities industry.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.
  • Applicable state health and life insurance licenses; jurisdictional registrations must match those of the advisor(s) supported.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, persuasion, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Willingness to pursue additional credentials in the wealth and investment fields.
