Financial Consultant (Personal Banker Equivalent)

What You'll Do

• Build Relationships
• Welcome members and create an exceptional service experience
• Open new accounts and educate members on products and services
• Uncover member needs and confidently recommend appropriate financial solutions
• Create lasting relationships that encourage members to choose Thrive for all of their financial needs
• Guide Lending Conversations
• Interview members and gather information to complete consumer loan applications
• Ensure loan applications are accurate, complete, and ready for review by our Loan Officers
• Answer questions and help members understand the lending process from application through closing
• Serve members through multiple channels, including in person, by phone, online, and through text messaging
• Participate in outbound member outreach to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities to better serve our members
• Contribute to individual and branch goals while maintaining a member-first mindset

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working in a bank or credit union
• Experience opening new accounts and discussing financial products with customers or members
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• The ability to identify member needs and confidently recommend appropriate solutions
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Previous consumer lending experience (optional)
