Financial Consultant

About the role

Nusenda Credit Union is seeking a Full-Time Financial Consultant to join our St. Michaels Branch. The position requires working 37-40 hours per week, with open availability Monday-Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Aid members with their financial needs through a consultative needs-based approach.
• Educate members on value-added products/services to meet individual needs, including opening and closing accounts/memberships, consumer loans (excluding home loan products), and answering questions about products and services.
• Refer members to specialized departments, as needed.
• Support the Teller line, as needed.
• Handle problem resolution within your authority level.
• Process transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, laws, and regulations, with a high degree of accuracy.

Requirements

• Three to five years of relevant experience.
• A High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of Teller and Platform Operations.
• Ability to provide exceptional service.
• Accuracy in numbers, procedural detail, processing, and balancing negotiable instruments.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, deal with sensitive information, and handle problem resolution.
• Effective communication with internal and external customers, appropriate via in-person, email, etc.

Pay
