Financial Center Manager I (Hebron)
About the role
The Financial Center Manager I is responsible for achieving specified banking center and staff performance goals, including profitability, deposit and loan growth, and fee income. This role focuses on building and leading a team to provide exceptional client experiences by presenting financial solutions tailored to clients' needs. The FCM drives new client acquisition, retention, and growth of core consumer and small business relationships while fostering a team-oriented environment. Additionally, the FCM builds strong internal partnerships and community alliances, integrates into the served communities, and may mentor new associates.
Responsibilities

- Maintain a banking center environment committed to exceptional client experience to foster loyalty and relationship development.
- Ensure banking center performance goals are met or exceeded, supporting District and Region objectives.
- Foster an inclusive, team-oriented environment with effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and lead a team knowledgeable in bank products, processes, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee daily operations, audit success, and sales execution, including opening deposit accounts, processing loan applications, and closing loans.
- Actively manage client onboarding and follow-up calls within the proper timeframe.
- Manage financial center sales and performance, understanding its impact on the District and company.
- Engage in coaching, recognition, and progress updates for team members.
- Develop strong business relationships with key partners (e.g., Business Specialists, Wealth Advisors, Mortgage Loan Officers) to deepen client relationships and identify new opportunities.
- Integrate into the community through visibility and participation in local groups and events.
- Align daily activities with The First Financial Bank Experience (FFB Experience), ensuring associates deliver quality client experiences.
- Attract and support new associates who align with the bank’s culture and assist in interviewing prospective candidates.
- Ensure associates actively manage their client relationships and develop them through coaching and joint sales calls.
- Maintain operational and risk management standards, including compliance with BSA, CIP, CRA, HMDA, Reg B, Reg D, Reg E, Reg CC, Truth in Savings, Privacy Compliance, and the Patriot Act.
- Assist the District Leader with conference calls, team meetings, and communication initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between peers, the District Leader, and Retail Regional President to support retail-wide initiatives.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in coaching and/or mentoring in a retail environment.
- 1-2 years of personal experience in sales and service with a track record of achieving sales and service goals.
- 1-2 years of demonstrated success in achieving performance goals.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent banking work experience preferred.
- 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent lifting and carrying of up to 10 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and driving.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Proficiency in compliance and regulatory procedures (e.g., BSA, CIP, HMDA, Reg E).
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Pay
$49,000 - $59,000 annually.
