Financial Center Manager I (Cheviot)
About the Role
The Financial Center Manager I will be responsible for the achievement of specified banking center and staff performance goals, including ongoing profitability, deposit and loan growth, and fee income. The FCM will build, develop, and lead a team focused on providing clients with an exceptional experience by presenting financial solutions to meet their needs. The role involves driving new client acquisition, retention, and growth of core consumer and small business relationships, as well as increasing non-interest revenue.
The FCM will foster a team-oriented environment, ensure compliance with regulatory procedures, and build strong community alliances. This role may also act as a mentor for onboarding new associates within the specified market.
Responsibilities

- Maintain a banking center environment committed to exceptional client experience to foster loyalty and relationship development.
- Ensure banking center performance goals are met or exceeded, supporting overall District and Region goals.
- Foster an inclusive and team-oriented environment, leading communication and collaboration efforts.
- Develop and lead a team knowledgeable in bank products, processes, policies, and procedures.
- Manage daily operations, audit success, and sales execution, including opening deposit accounts, processing loan applications, and closing loans.
- Actively manage the onboarding of new clients and ensure timely follow-up calls.
- Engage in coaching, recognition, and progress updates for team members.
- Develop strong business relationships with key partners (e.g., Business Specialists, Wealth Advisors, Mortgage Loan Officers) to deepen client relationships and identify new opportunities.
- Integrate into the community, developing outside sales opportunities through active participation in community groups and events.
- Align daily activities with The First Financial Bank Experience (FFB Experience), ensuring associates deliver quality client experiences.
- Attract and retain associates who align with the bank’s culture and provide ongoing support and engagement.
- Assist with interviewing prospective candidates and facilitate team meetings and District/Region communication.
- Maintain all operational and risk management standards, including compliance with BSA, CIP, CRA, HMDA, Reg B, Reg D, Reg E, Reg CC, Truth in Savings, Privacy Compliance, and the Patriot Act.
- Act as a liaison between peers, the District Leader, and Retail Regional President to support retail-wide initiatives.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in coaching and/or mentoring in a retail environment.
- 1-2 years of personal experience in sales and service with previous success in achieving sales and service goals.
- 1-2 years of demonstrated success in achieving performance goals.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent banking work experience preferred.
- 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent lifting and carrying of up to 10 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and driving.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Proficiency in compliance and regulatory procedures (e.g., BSA, CIP, HMDA).
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Pay
$49,000 - $59,000 annually.
