About the role

The Financial Assistance Representative is responsible for assisting patients with their medical bills to determine the possibility of insurance eligibility, payment arrangement options, or charity determination. This role involves close collaboration with the Business Office, the Clinics, and the Eligibility Assistance Vendor.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with medical billing inquiries
• Determine insurance eligibility for patients
• Explore payment arrangement options with patients
• Assess eligibility for charity care
• Coordinate with the Business Office, Clinics, and Eligibility Assistance Vendor

Requirements

• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent
