Financial Analyst - Urgent Need

Job Description

The Financial Analyst provides support for the Operations Finance group within the client Integrated Diagnostics Solutions business.

The Financial Analyst provides support to help streamline efforts and build schedules to bolster current reporting and processes.

• Developing and designing reports to track cost center spending and streamlining other reporting metrics
• Aid in Master Data clean-up efforts – costing sourcing, discontinue status reviews, item maintenance, BOM/Routes, etc.
• Aid in documenting various processes for month end closing, annual costing practices, or various other activities.
• Facilitate and document RACI charts for various processes around Budgeted, Forecasting, mid-month etc.
• Assist with detailed explanations and analyses on departmental spending and key drivers vs. budget and forecast on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Ad Hoc analyses as assigned.

About You

• Candidate should be well organized and possess good communication, and analytical skills.
• Candidate must be highly proficient working with Microsoft Excel and reasonably proficient with other common applications such as MS Access, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
• ERP experience is necessary; specifically, SAP experience is preferred.
• Self-driven, proactive and seeks continuous improvement.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed, challenging environment with strong attention to detail.
• Previous experience working in a highly visible role that will interact with individuals at all organizational levels, internal and external, and at remote locations.

Education and Experience

• B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum 2 - 3 years of relevant experience required, manufacturing industry preferred.
• CPA / CMA / MBA or equivalent or working toward qualification is desirable.
