Role Overview: A Sr. Financial Analyst in the Technical Accounting & Modeling department will perform comprehensive credit loss analytics, allowance estimation, and financial forecast modeling for US and Canadian consumer portfolios, adhering to USGAAP and IFRS standards under SOX controls. They will develop automated workflows, support data analytics projects, and prepare audit-ready data packages to communicate insights to management and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Process and validate credit loss forecast models, prepare reserve reports, and journal entries.Analyze originations, delinquencies, charge-offs, and default probabilities.Create econometric models and automation tools for credit loss forecasting.Prepare disclosures for SEC/10K reports and provide reserve forecasts for planning.Support quarterly financial analytics and internal/external audits with data insights. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s in finance, accounting, economics, statistics, or related fields; certifications like CFA, CPA, CMA, MBA preferred.5+ years of experience in credit loss forecasting, financial modeling, and data analytics.Proficiency in Excel, Office Suite, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), and programming languages (Python, R, SAS).Strong analytical skills, model development expertise, and ability to communicate complex results effectively. Work Environment: Hybrid work model with in-office and remote days at Torrance location; minimal travel required.
