Financial Analyst (Nephrology)

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Analyst who will perform analysis and data reviews to assist management in establishing and controlling budgets, setting financial goals, making projections, and meeting fiscal objectives.

Responsibilities

• Interpret data to evaluate and determine past financial performance and/or make financial projections for management who must make overall business decisions.
• Provide interpretation of accounts, methods, and records for management.
• Conduct studies of cost and financial results of business activities; recommend adjustments and other cost improvement measures.
• Review costs and perform cost benefit analysis for projects and/or programs.
• Produce financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis.
• Provide reports, findings, and recommendations to management.
• Assist with preparation of special studies, reports, and analyses.
• Recommend budget adjustments and other cost improvement measures.
• Recommend quality control and process improvements regarding the overall business process.
• Review and assist with analysis of capital expenditures proposals, profit plans, operating records and financial statements.
• Make recommendations for resolving funding shortfalls.
• Oversee simple to moderately complex budget accounts.
• Keep abreast and apply a working knowledge of laws and regulations that impact compliance.
• Use various software applications such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages to assemble, manipulate, and format data.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
• Three years of progressively responsible related financial experience.

Skills

• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in using various software applications such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages.

$53,800- $94,400 Annually Targeted $74,100 (Commensurate w/exp.)
