Financial Analyst, Mid

Provide timely and accurate financial analysis, record keeping, visualization, and reporting as directed by management. Apply specific functional knowledge and working or general industry knowledge. May assist in the development of solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work under general supervision and may provide guidance for less experienced team members.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit Excel functions, formulas, charts, graphs, and pivot tables
• Apply data cleansing and visualization methods
• Communicate effectively, provide excellent customer service, and work independently
• Learn and adapt to using Naval Financial Management enterprise tools
• Conduct data analysis and utilize Navy ERP and Power BI to collect and visualize data to inform leadership decision making (preferred)

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook applications
• Secret clearance (required)
• Bachelor’s degree

Qualifications

• Experience with Department of Defense financial processes (preferred)
• Knowledge of the NAVSEA organization and Naval Systems (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in a Financial, Accounting, or Analytical field (preferred)
• Microsoft Office Excel Certification (preferred)
• Completion of Warfighting Acquisition University or Defense Acquisition University Course (preferred)

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $55,300.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements.

Work Model

• Remote: Primarily remote, with occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
• Hybrid: Frequent work from a Booz Allen facility, with potential visits to customer facilities as required by the role.
• Onsite: Work primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, collaborating directly with colleagues and customers.

Employees working virtually are generally expected to have their cameras on during meetings to support engagement and effective communication.
