Job Description
The Financial Analyst, Marketing serves as a strategic finance partner to the Marketing organization, supporting budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and investment decision-making across media, brand, social, shopper, market development, and campaign spend.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing spend budgeting and forecasting processes across marketing functions and campaigns.
- Partner with Marketing leadership to develop and maintain detailed forecasts across media, shopper, digital, social, experiential, and agency investments.
- Monitor actual spend against budget and forecast, proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and spend variances.
- Support Annual Operating Plan (AOP) development and long-range planning related to marketing investments and initiatives.
- Perform monthly variance analysis on marketing spend, including media, shopper, digital, and experiential expenses.
- Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and executive summaries to track marketing performance against financial targets.
- Analyze spending trends and provide recommendations to improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Evaluate ROI and effectiveness of marketing campaigns, media investments, and coupon distribution programs.
- Build financial models to support investment decisions, scenario planning, and post-campaign analysis.
- Track KPIs related to media efficiency, campaign effectiveness, and marketing productivity.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, reporting automation, and enhanced analytical tools to improve visibility into marketing spend and performance.
- Communicate financial insights and recommendations clearly to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
- Contribute to enterprise-wide financial activities, process improvement efforts, and cross functional business analysis beyond core marketing and finance responsibilities.

Functional/Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
- Experience with ERP systems and financial planning tools (SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics 365, or equivalent)
- Dashboard and reporting experience using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools preferred
- Familiarity with marketing analytics platforms and campaign measurement methodologies is a plus

Job Details
- Work Hours: Monday-Friday, business hours; hybrid 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
- Work Attire: Use good judgment, keeping in mind the nature of their work, their safety and the safety of others, and their need to interact with the public
- Pay Range: $95,000 - $105,000, bonus eligible
