Financial Analyst III

Contract role within the x-RL Finance cross team of the Finance & Business Planning (FBP) organization. This highly impactful position is part of an RL-wide horizontal team responsible for core FP&A deliverables and projects that can be most efficiently completed centrally within the RL Pillar. The team strives to make RL Finance more efficient while delivering high-quality, critical planning work by leveraging deep expertise in FP&A processes, cross-RL Finance relationships, and visibility to work spanning vertical teams within RL Finance.

About the role

The main functions of a financial analyst are to gather and analyze financial information, conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions, and communicate financial insights to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-team ownership for a key Reality Labs vertical within RL Finance, empowering the team to achieve their goals.
• Spearhead the development and implementation of standardized processes across the RL Cross team to ensure seamless collaboration and efficiency.
• Lead close and forecast cycles across a key Reality Labs vertical within RL Finance, including defining timelines, templates, and processes, and preparing flux commentary and forecasts.
• Help execute the annual budget process, partnering with vertical FP&A teams to support workstreams that allocate resources, inform key business decisions, and execute operational plans.
• Drive key systems efforts across Reality Labs Finance.
• Develop and maintain proactive, collaborative partnerships between RL vertical FP&A teams, RL Consolidations, Corporate FP&A, and other cross-functional teams, including Accounting, Technical Accounting, and Enterprise Engineering.

Requirements

• Well-rounded knowledge of core FP&A concepts.
• Experience building cross-functional relationships and communicating financial insights to diverse stakeholders.

Pay

$55 to $62 per hour.

Schedule

• 5+ months duration with possibility of extension and conversion depending on performance.
• Standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
• Remote location.
