Financial Analyst II - Contract/Temp

Responsibilities

• Aid in the preparation of rate cases providing general accounting assistance, analysis, and forecasting of the need for and the timing of rate increases.
• Participate in the planning/budgeting processes to ensure timely recognition of investments.
• Compile and aggregate budget and business planning information.
• Support the preparation of financial due diligence, including pro-forma income statements, for water and wastewater acquisitions in various jurisdictions.
• Handle PUC filings and data requests/other correspondence with applicable utility commissions.
• Prepare answers to interrogatories.
• Provide support for witness litigation process.
• Interface with other departments to determine future rate case adjustments.
• Prepare special reports as needed.
• Prepare relevant documents requested by or required by the Commission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 2-5 years of relevant experience required
• Utilities experience preferred
