About the role
The Department of Radiology is seeking a Financial Analyst II to join their Budget Team!
Responsibilities
- Leads the development, maintenance, and monitoring of automated financial information systems and budgets, and disseminates updates and results to leadership when appropriate
- Instructs, trains, and provides feedback to departmental financial staff based on developed goals
- Advises on departmental best practices
- Leads departmental financial staff by establishing vision and tactical approach by which essential tasks should be completed
- Develops and revises strategic approaches to be used for accomplishing goals
- Uses statistical analysis, simulations, predictive modeling, or other methods to analyze information and develop solutions to business problems
- Recommends and/or approves general ledger entries in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Led general ledger reconciliations and complex general ledger account analysis
- Leads the development and implementation of financial processes throughout the department, including the development and delivery of timelines, reports, and recommendations for improvement
- May lead other financial staff
- Prepares reports, spreadsheets, and schedules with compiled and conformed financial data from multiple reporting systems
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience creating financial reports, analyzing financial data, developing forecasts and budgets, and using data to identify trends and make business recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Required; focus in Finance, Accounting, or a similar field
Skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Skilled at managing multiple tasks effectively and meeting deadlines
Benefits
This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.
Pay
The starting salary/hourly wage for the position is $81,906; but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
The work schedule is Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
