About the role
We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst I/II/III for our Owensboro, KY office.
Responsibilities
- Work extensively with all Payroll functions including payroll processing, jurisdictional tax maintenance, software integration and testing, and incentive accounting.
- Process Oracle timesheets for bi-weekly payroll, maintain and audit adjustments for new hires and terms, discretionary payments and other adjustments to payroll in compliance with internal and SOX controls.
- Utilize Dayforce HCM to process, audit, and maintain accurate payroll, tax, and employee records.
- Activities also include processing bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly accounting journals, reports, and funding requests for payroll related activities.
- Analyze 100+ payroll related accounts monthly for various BWP entities using Oracle EBS, Reports Wand and spreadsheets.
- Maintain and audit bi-weekly interfaces with T Rowe Price to update 401k withholdings.
- Quarterly test Oracle EBS and Dayforce upgrades, tax reporting and reconciliations, work with internal and external auditors and numerous special requests.
- Work closely with Human Resources, Benefits and various employees throughout BWP.
Requirements
- Excellent computer skills
- Dayforce system (HR/Payroll) and Oracle EBS accounting system proficiency
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Action and detail oriented with a strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive situations and information
- Ability to manage a diverse range of assignments requiring experience, innovation, judgment and initiative
- Ability to excel in a team environment and work with minimal supervision
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, And Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in payroll
- 2-5 years of experience in incentive accounting
- Experience with software configuration, interfaces, data analysis and testing
- Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion experience
- Experience with Dayforce system
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Desire for continuous learning and process improvement
Required Education
- BS Degree: Accounting or equivalent
