Award-winning investment bank Houlihan Lokey, Inc. (NYSE:HLI) is seeking Financial Analysts to join our dynamic Financial Restructuring Group. Our team works on a wide array of transactions, including creditor- and debtor-side restructurings, distressed mergers & acquisitions, and debt and equity financings.
- Advising clients in out-of-court and Chapter 11 restructurings
- Distressed M&A advisory services
- Special-situation principal investing
- Participating in complex negotiation on behalf of our clients
Qualifications
- A B.A./B.S./B.B.A. in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Applied Economics is required, along with coursework in accounting and finance.
- Preferred qualifications include strong financial and computer skills, a fundamental understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and applications, and a demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff.
- Candidates should have strong analytical abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff.
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, with an exemplary academic record, is preferred.
- One to three years of relevant work experience in similar roles within investment banking is beneficial.
- Experience with operational financial modeling and valuation is advantageous.
- A very strong work ethic and careful attention to detail are essential.
