Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to: Responsible for various ad hoc analyses and development of complex financial models associated with different projects/developments/investment opportunitiesAssists the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager with the development of the operating budgetMonthly reporting on all aspects of the operation including, but not limited to, Slot Report, Table Games Report and the Report on OperationsObserves and monitors operating results to determine business trendsPerforms ad hoc analyses based on operational trends, economic trends, or competitive developments, when necessaryAssists in the evaluation of potential business opportunities and strategic initiativesPerforms post analysis of Arena shows and other events to assess overall property impact and profitabilityPerforms labor analysis with the use of key volume indicators to ensure proper staffing to maximize customer service levels while ensuring profitability Secondary Duties And Responsibilities Data EntryFloor Observations Minimum Education And Qualifications Bachelors’ Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business Management or a related fieldMust have at least one year of analytical experience preferably in a high volume, complex casino environmentWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position: Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong critical thinking skills, particularly for problem solving and trend identificationStrong analytical, communication and financial presentation skillsMust be able to multitask and adhere to strict deadlines Training Requirements Mohegan Sun’s corporate and department policies and proceduresWorkday, Workday Adaptive Planning, Workday OfficeConnect, Cognos Analytics or other BI reporting tool, Snowflake, SQL preferred Physical Demands And Work Environment Office work environmentMust sit in front of a computer screen for extended periods of timeMust be able to work various shifts and flexible hours This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, requirements or working conditions associated with this job.
