Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reporting and metrics to support leadership decision-making.
- Partner with Commercial teams to monitor revenue, margin, sales productivity, and other key financial metrics; identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Develop accurate and efficient forecasting and analytical models to streamline report management and output.
- Track monthly commercial KPIs and maintain performance dashboards, scorecards, and ranking tools used to evaluate sales performance.
- Calculate, validate, and reconcile monthly and quarterly sales commissions, including compensation adjustments, discrepancy resolution, commission statement accuracy, and sales representative inquiries.
- Affiliate in designing and improving commission models based on sales performance and targets.
- Assist in building, modeling, and tracking of sales quotas.
- Conduct territory analysis to support the design of territory structures and recommend adjustments or optimizations based on business conditions, sales coverage needs, and strategic objectives.
- Partner with the Accounting team to manage month-end analyses, reconciliations and close entries as needed for financial close process.
- Translate complex datasets and analytical findings into clear tables, visuals, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop ad hoc reports and analyses to support commercial team decision-making.
Skills/Experience Required
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft PowerBI experience strongly preferred)
- Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and process documentation
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable managing priorities independently
- Must be able to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders across the organization
- Experience with commercial compensation or sales commission calculations is a plus
- Experience with ERP and CRM systems is a plus (Dynamics 365)
