Financial Analyst

About the role

Soni is partnering with a growing global organization seeking a Financial Analyst to support FP&A, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business partnership. This role is ideal for someone who has strong accounting fundamentals, solid analytical skills, and the ability to build dashboards, models, and reporting tools that help leadership understand the story behind the numbers.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting
• Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools
• Analyze financial results and identify key business drivers
• Translate financial data into clear insights for leadership
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Sales, and business stakeholders
• Support month-end close activities as needed
• Assist with SOX controls, documentation, and audit support
• Help improve reporting processes, systems, and dashboards
• Support ad hoc finance, reporting, and analytical projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years of finance, accounting, FP&A, or related experience
• Strong accounting fundamentals
• SOX controls or audit environment exposure
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
• Power BI or data visualization experience
• Strong analytical, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
• Ability to present data clearly and explain business drivers

Preferred Skills

• Life sciences, pharma, biotech, or regulated industry experience
• SAP / S4 HANA experience
• Anaplan or OneStream experience
• CMA, CPA, or CPA track
• SEC / IFRS exposure
• Experience creating dashboards or models from scratch

Compensation

$100,000 - $115,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
