Financial Analyst

Hybrid opportunity after 30 days in the office; 2x/week remote afterwards. Must have strong Excel skills (no exceptions). Based in Irving, Texas.

About the role

Support informed business decisions through clear financial reporting, thoughtful analysis, and reliable forecasting. Partner with leadership and finance stakeholders to evaluate performance, highlight key trends, and strengthen financial visibility across the organization. Contribute to budgeting activities and help ensure financial data is accurate, compliant, and actionable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial results and translate data into meaningful insights that support planning and operational decisions.
• Prepare recurring and on-demand reports that identify performance trends, business risks, and areas for improvement.
• Build and maintain forecasts by reviewing historical results, current drivers, and expected business activity.
• Support the budget process by gathering inputs, validating assumptions, and helping consolidate financial plans.
• Perform variance analysis to explain differences between actual results, budget targets, and prior forecasts.
• Assist with month-end close activities by reviewing financial data, resolving discrepancies, and improving reporting accuracy.
• Partner with executives, service line leaders, and finance colleagues to provide timely analysis and answer financial questions.
• Help maintain compliance and accountability by applying sound financial controls and consistent reporting practices.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis or a closely related finance role.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct financial analysis and deliver clear, data-based recommendations.
• Experience producing ad hoc financial analysis in response to changing business needs and leadership requests.
• Strong capability in variance analysis, including identifying root causes behind performance fluctuations.
• Familiarity with month-end close activities and the review of financial reporting outputs.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
