About the Opportunity
The Financial Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the financial health and growth of the organization’s various practice lines. This position is responsible for analyzing key financial and operational metrics, preparing proposals for new business opportunities, forecasting site-level financial performance, and supporting budgeting and enterprise planning processes. The role contributes to decision-making by providing accurate financial insights and maintaining data integrity across platforms.
Responsibilities
- Perform financial analysis for multiple medical specialties and growth areas.
- Utilize Oracle Financial environments and enterprise tools for reporting and analysis.
- Analyze metrics such as payer mix, staffing patterns, and provider compensation.
- Participate in the month-end close process.
- Forecast income statements and balance sheets for new and existing sites.
- Monitor and analyze budget discrepancies.
- Ensure quality and reliability of financial and operational data.
- Respond to inquiries regarding data and financial proposals.
- Develop and refine dashboards and financial models.
- Build financial pro-formas to guide business decisions.
- Support company-wide Finance initiatives.
- Maintain data integrity and integration across financial systems.
- Collaborate with physician leaders on budgeting.
- Auxiliary in monthly Budget vs Actual reporting.
- Support annual enterprise planning and quarterly forecast updates.
- Manage financial tracking and communicate material changes.
- Prioritize and manage projects, coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
- Maintain communication on project status and progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, economics, finance, or accounting.
- Minimum one year of experience in financial analysis, finance, accounting, economics, or applied mathematics.
- Demonstrated project management experience.
- Preferred experience in healthcare finance or accounting.
- Preferred advanced Excel skills including Macros and Pivot Tables.
- Preferred experience with Oracle Hyperion/EPBCS, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, or similar systems.
- Preferred familiarity with Oracle NetSuite or other GL Accounting software.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong business acumen and team collaboration abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
Pay Range and Compensation Package
