Key Responsibilities
- Partner directly with assigned Business Unit Manager(s) to provide financial analysis, identify risks and opportunities, and support operational decision making.
- Develop, standardize, and document financial processes, reports, and analytical tools to improve consistency, efficiency, and scalability across the organization.
- Analyze monthly financial results, investigate variances, and prepare actionable recommendations for business and finance leadership.
- Support the annual operating plan, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Drive continuous improvement by automating manual reporting, improving data quality, and identifying opportunities to eliminate non-value-added activities.
- Assist with the preparation of management reporting packages, KPI dashboards, and executive presentations.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, supply chain, and accounting to improve financial visibility and business performance.
- Support internal and external audits while ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls.
- Gradually assume ownership of accounting functions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end close responsibilities, and balance sheet reviews.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of plant operations and financial drivers to serve as a trusted business partner.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, FP&A, or manufacturing finance.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills using Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working with ERP systems and large datasets.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial leaders.
- Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical engineering or industrial finance experience.
- Experience with standard costing and variance analysis.
- Knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and month-end close processes.
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, or other business intelligence tools.
