Financial Analyst

This is a 6-month W-2 contract assignment located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410.

About the role

We are searching for a Financial Analyst-Level 2 to support a data transformation project that aims to rethink the way the Power Generation Division performs financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support development of forecasting and planning models by contributing to the design and validation of driver-based forecasting models and planning structures within SAC, supplying financial logic, operational assumptions, and performance metrics.
• Facilitate collaboration and user adoption by acting as a liaison between Finance, Operations, IT, and the SAC development team to support user acceptance testing (UAT), document requirements, and change management efforts.
• Partner with IT and data teams to support integrations between SAC and SAP S/4HANA, BW, or other source systems, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and proper model governance.
• Leverage AI to enhance financial analysis and process efficiency by using artificial intelligence tools to streamline financial analysis, automate routine reporting tasks, and enhance forecasting insights.

Requirements

• Knowledge in financial management, financial modeling, SAP, and SAC.
• Use of AI in daily work.
• Working knowledge of SAP environments (e.g., S/4HANA, BW, or related modules) with an understanding of data structures, financial postings, and integration across systems.
• Advanced financial modeling capabilities to build, maintain, and validate driver-based financial models; ability to translate operational inputs into financial outcomes.
• Experience supporting SAC planning and reporting solutions, including familiarity with planning models, data actions, workflows, version management, and story functionality.
• Process improvement and transformation mindset with experience participating in financial system implementations or process transformation projects, focusing on standardization, automation, and continuous improvement.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $35.00/hr to $40.00/hr, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills.
