Financial Analyst

About The Role

The role oversees core financial planning, analysis, and regulatory reporting functions, ensuring absolute accuracy across US GAAP, SOX, and SEC compliance frameworks. You will bridge the gap between day-to-day corporate accounting operations and long-term strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed three-statement financial models (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) to support monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles
• Prepare comprehensive SEC-aligned quarterly and annual reporting packages, ensuring strict adherence to US GAAP standards
• Design, implement, and test internal controls to maintain robust SOX compliance across all financial planning and reporting systems
• Analyze budget-to-actual variances across departments, partner with team leads to manage discretionary spend, and present performance insights to executive leadership
• Own the administration and data integrity of financial planning software (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights) and enterprise ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite)
• Support ad-hoc corporate development initiatives, including capital allocation analysis, treasury operations, and tax planning support

What We Are Looking For

• 3-6 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or public accounting (Big 4 preferred)
• Strong technical understanding of US GAAP, SOX internal controls, and SEC reporting guidelines
• Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel; experience with SQL, Tableau, or dedicated FP&A planning tools is highly desirable
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a highly quantitative field
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
• Bonus: Active CPA license, CFA charterholder, or prior experience in a high-growth technology or SaaS business
