About The Role

The role drives financial modeling, reporting, and strategic analysis for corporate finance and regulatory reporting processes. This position sits at the intersection of operational finance and compliance, ensuring accurate reporting in accordance with US GAAP, SOX compliance, and SEC guidelines. This role will work closely with accounting and operational leaders to analyze financial performance, build driver-based forecasting models, and support external audit preparation in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial models to track variance against budget and analyze key operational metrics.
• Prepare comprehensive financial schedules and disclosures to support SEC filings, including Form 10-K and 10-Q disclosures.
• Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement fluctuation analyses under US GAAP to identify trends and anomalies.
• Document and test internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) to ensure ongoing compliance with SOX Section 404.
• Leverage SQL, NetSuite, and advanced Excel functions to extract financial data, automate reporting workflows, and reduce monthly close times.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to translate operational KPIs into long-range financial forecasts.

What We Are Looking For

• 3-6 years of experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), or public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX internal control frameworks, and SEC reporting guidelines.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, SQL, and corporate ERP systems (such as NetSuite, Workday, or Oracle).
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Bonus: CPA, CFA candidate, or direct experience in the technology sector or a high-growth startup environment.
