Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000
Overview Of The Financial Analyst Role
The Financial Analyst will support the organization’s FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. This role is highly visible and partners closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive financial insight and accountability.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Support financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and business decisions
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights to leadership
- Partner with operations and department leaders to monitor performance and drive accountability
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages
- Auxiliary with month-end close activities by reconciling actuals to forecasts in collaboration with accounting
- Perform variance analysis and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, financial models, and analytical tools
- Support cash flow forecasting and ad hoc financial analysis requests
- Present financial results and recommendations to finance leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, corporate finance, or similar role
- Strong financial modeling skills and advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into clear business insights
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
