About the role
The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) seeks a Full Time Financial Analyst to support the USAF Sensitive Activities at JBSA Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX. This position involves auditing PCS/TDY claims, troubleshooting DTS, leading voucher compliance under JTR/DoDFMR, certifying fiscal transactions, and providing strategic financial guidance to USAF leaders and DFAS.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship
- Initial and periodic short notice drug testing
- TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
- Knowledge of military pay and allowances, allotments, leave rules and regulations
- Mastery of related financial regulations and rulings
- Knowledge of USAF financial management principles, theories, procedures and applications
- Knowledge of DoD, DFAS, and USAF financial management objectives, auditing, accounting and disbursing missions
- Knowledge of automated financial management and accounting systems

- Knowledge of automated financial management and accounting systems
- Ability to plan and organize work, meet deadlines
- Interpret financial reports, schedules, & statements
- Planning, coordinating, and executing financial and budgetary actions
- Understanding AF and DoD automated financial and budgetary management and pay systems
