Major Responsibilities
- Counsels students in person, by phone and emails regarding their financial aid.
- Verifies financial aid files.
- Packages and awards financial aid.
- Follows up on payments to students.
- Conduct financial aid outreach to current Ivy Tech students and prospective Ivy Tech students in the local community.
- Administers and fully utilizes federal campus-based aid programs, including the Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant and the Federal Work-Study Program.
- Affixes to Veteran’s Benefits as they relate to financial aid.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a business discipline or public administration.
- The ability to work well with others and maintain absolute confidentiality is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience administering student financial aid.

Pay
Hiring Range: $40,000-45,000 annually based on experience
