About the Role

The Service Advisor is a licensed financial professional responsible for supporting the advisory team in delivering financial planning and investment advice. This role involves direct interaction with clients to implement advisor-directed strategies, prepare financial plans, and provide ongoing service. While this role may not fully own client relationships or new business development, it operates with a degree of independent judgment and applies specialized financial knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial plans in collaboration with lead advisors.
  • Implement investment strategies and process account transactions as needed.
  • Serve as a point of contact for existing clients for service-related needs.
  • Analyze client data to identify financial planning opportunities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of client requests.
  • Maintain detailed documentation in CRM and financial planning systems.
  • Stay current with industry regulations, market trends, and product knowledge.
  • Support advisors in client retention and satisfaction initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Active Series 65 license, Series 66 license, CFP designation, CFA designation, ChFC designation, or CIC designation required.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning concepts, investments, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and client service skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Possess a willingness to learn firm technologies.
