Financial Advisor, UBS Wealth Advice Center
About the role
We are seeking a Financial Advisor with 2+ years of experience in an inbound and outbound phone-based advisory environment. The ideal candidate should have SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 or Series 65/63 licenses, a bachelor’s degree, and a strong background in client service and professional client engagement.
Responsibilities
- Build and deepen relationships with an existing, assigned client base by delivering an exceptional, professional client experience.
- Work within a dedicated contact and assignment model, focusing on financial planning and advice rather than cold calling or self-sourcing clients.
- Obtain the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation through our tuition reimbursement program.
- Continue a successful advisory career within a growing wealth management business, offering strong earning potential and long-term career advancement.
- Deepen existing client relationships through structured discovery conversations and suitable investment recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to deliver more holistic financial planning solutions across a client’s full financial picture.
- Promptly handle inbound referral calls and confidently advise clients based on their needs and goals.
- Manage all client appointments, follow-ups, and outreaches as assigned.
- Analyze complex financial situations using UBS’s digital tools and financial planning resources.
- Lead financial planning conversations with professionalism, confidence, and credibility.
- Implement financial planning and investment solutions aligned to client goals.
- Adequately adhere to all compliance, regulatory, and operational requirements to protect clients and the firm.
Requirements
- Experience working in a structured, client-focused advisory environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Compliance with all regulatory and operational requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Series 7, Series 66, or Series 65/63 licenses preferred.
- SIE certification preferred.

Benefits
The indicative gross base salary range for this role is as follows:
- New Jersey, Weehawken: USD 75,000 - USD 100,000
- Minnesota, Minneapolis: USD 75,000 - USD 100,000 /annum
The expected salary for this role will be determined by relevant factors including role-required experience, qualifications, education, location, and skill level. The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:
- New Jersey, Weehawken: USD 75,000 - USD 100,000
- Minnesota, Minneapolis: USD 75,000 - USD 100,000 /annum
