About the role
Soundview Financial Group, a Private Wealth Advisory Practice of Ameriprise Financial, is seeking an Advisor Trainee to support succession planning efforts for retiring advisors while contributing to the continued growth and continuity of the practice.
Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Transition & Continuity
- Shadow experienced advisors
- Paid study time for necessary licenses and credentials
- Assume responsibility for designated client households after training
- Maintain high-touch service standards
- Support succession planning for retiring advisors
- Financial Planning & Implementation
- Deliver comprehensive financial planning and investment strategies
- Conduct client meetings and provide ongoing portfolio guidance
- Translate complex financial concepts into practical solutions
- Practice Growth & Development
- Identify and deepen existing client relationships
- Contribute to revenue growth within the team structure
- Support long-term expansion and sustainability of the practice
- Team Collaboration
- Partner closely with senior advisors and operational staff
- Maintain accurate documentation, compliance standards, and CRM
Requirements
- Ability to obtain securities and insurance licenses (Series 7 & 66, WA state insurance) OR current active licenses
- Experience or documented education in financial services or wealth management
- Willingness to maintain in-office presence in Edmonds or Wenatchee
- Comfortable serving clients in person and building long-term trust
- Organized, proactive, and growth-oriented
- Collaborative mindset within an ensemble practice model

Pay
Base Salary: $50,000 - $85,000/ year
Incentive Compensation: 10% - 20% based on production and responsibilities
Schedule
Monday–Friday, standard business hours

In-office presence required; flexibility may be discussed based on location
