About the role

The Financial Advisor Manager (FAM) oversees a team of Financial Advisors, focusing on recruitment, training, and performance management. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, increasing product sales productivity, and developing strong relationships with retail partners.

Responsibilities

  • Hiring, on-boarding, and managing a team of Financial Advisors
  • Coaching and mentoring Financial Advisors to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Implementing plans and programs to increase Mass Affluent product sales and referrals
  • Developing and maintaining a pipeline of Financial Advisors to meet staffing needs
  • Leading implementation of marketing programs and conducting financial plan proposal assessments
  • Supporting business development activities and community engagement
  • Providing leadership and support to the team in executing high-impact activities and ongoing training
  • Managing expenditures and preparing financial reports
  • Leading the team in achieving financial plan proposal proposals, sales volumes, assets, and revenue growth
  • Engaging in frequent travel within the assigned territory

Requirements

Must hold relevant licenses and registrations, such as Life/Health, Series 65, 7 and 24. Must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 7-10+ years of related experience. Excellent communication and managerial skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft applications and experience in financial analysis.

Pay

The base pay for this role ranges from $115,440 to $173,160 USD, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Variable compensation and incentives are also available.

Schedule

Flexible work arrangements may be available, but occasional travel within the assigned territory is required.
