Responsibilities

  • Consults with clients to identify their goals, objectives, and appetite for risk, resulting in tailored solutions and strategies.
  • Works collaboratively with the team to identify and develop specific clients and prospects compatible with Northern Trust's target profiles.
  • Uses broad knowledge of the investment markets and terminology to inform and educate clients and partners about various strategies, particularly concentrated positions.
  • Collaborates with NTSI traders to ensure excellence in execution and monitors the market and information sources to make appropriate and timely strategy decisions.
  • Documents client notes/interactions thoroughly in Salesforce to keep all advisory team members informed and updated.
  • Develops and implements best-in-class investment strategies and solutions to maximize sales efforts.
  • Establishes personal sales goals and business plans with manager based on experience and product knowledge.
  • Provides top-tier client service, operating independently while maintaining in-depth knowledge of the business unit/function.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert, offering comprehensive consulting and leadership across various functional areas.
  • Conducts preliminary analysis, interacts with different committees and/or management, and develops, implements, and administers programs within functional areas.
  • Strategically develops and executes programs within functional areas, demonstrating strong sales, communication, and group presentation skills.
  • Is goal-driven and self-motivated, with some travel required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of securities industry and sales experience.
  • Broad-based knowledge of all securities products, with options expertise preferred.
  • Required Securities license: Series 7, 66 (or 63/65).
  • Professional designation preferred (CFP).

Benefits

Salary range is $110,000 - 185,000 USD. Northern Trust offers a comprehensive benefits package including:
